Praise the Lord that this man of faith is no longer in this world of suffering and pain and is with Jesus now. Prayers and condolences for the family.
And... [they] will get their due. [They] have yet another man's blood on their hands. And for it [they] must pay.
No he is dead and the bible says costly is the death of the saints in the eyes of the Lord. When Christ comes back he will be raised. Why on earth would you praise the lord for his death? I know you mean well but that isnt the truth
God Bless him.
His body will be raised, yes, but his spirit is with the Lord fren. See Philippians 1:23, wherein the Apostle Paul seeks to be with the Lord, and Luke 23:46, in which Jesus commits his spirit to his Heavenly Father... both these passages indicate that the death of the physical body does not mean the spirit remains in a sort of limbo - on the contrary, the spirits of the people of God go to be in heaven until we are given a new body at the second coming of Jesus Christ. The timing and aspect of this is laid out in detail in 1 Corinthians 15:35-57.
Now, regarding former Fire Chief Corey, the events surrounding his death are, of course, heartbreaking and enraging and rightfully so, but for those of us in the Christian faith (as he was and his family are), I praise the Lord that he's in a much better place than we are now.
Are you saved? Everyone I know who is saved can’t wait to be with Jesus. This world is just a fleeting moment compared to our eternity. To counter your response, would you “curse” the Lord for his death instead?
