If shtf.. who will be checking licenses?

i plan to get one soon, but just fire it up for a test with no license. Then when shtf just fire it up to use.

If you don't know how to use it it won't do you any good. Ham radios ain't CB radios. Study all you want but if you don't operate, you don't know. If you want to learn to operate you gotta get a license or NOBODY will talk to you. Locals might even hunt you down if you create too much QRM.
