Sorry - previously posted - worth another view, though
It's even blasphemous if you believe in the KJV. Literally one of the ten commandments, although handily struck from the catholic version of the bible.

Exodus 20:4 “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”
King James Version (KJV)
Our Father had a lot to say about graven images...

Habakkuk 2:18 “What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?”
King James Version (KJV)
Deuteronomy 4:16 “Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,”
King James Version (KJV)
Deuteronomy 5:8 “Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:”
King James Version (KJV)
Well, I didn't say we need to worship it.
That is an interesting statement. Is an image of the Shroud blasphemous? Like the guy who was murdered for a cartoon of some supposed prophet from the Middle East - was that blasphemous? Smells of rotten fish.
Well, I accused no-one. Not sure why anyone felt accused. Soft much?
Second, the words are clear, and not my words. If you have a question, you can get the answer from the book yourself.
Why are you telling me to lighten up? That is really hilarious. More like you are telling God to lighten up.
