Luke 10:19, Jesus states "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you," those who follow him will be protected from harm and nothing can truly hurt them. You may get a nicked ear but that is about it.

I believe that power was given to the original Apostles while the Gospel was being spread. All of them except John were martyred so their enemies eventually got power over them but their deaths were for US. For future believers to know that the Gospel is a fact for nobody would ever give up their life willingly for a lie. I sure hope Trump has God's protection---I pray that daily. (Don't think anyone today can handle a Black Momba and walk away---over 20 feet anyway!)
