Yea I know what you mean. The only solid reason I can think of for getting a lot of money is using it to build something really good. Like:

a solid school that actually teaches students something useful instead of how to be gay
a media empire that doesn't lie to you and make you think cow farts are going to end the world
farms and produce processing that don't poison you or the soil or the animals

If I had a lot of money, it was be REALLY HARD to fight the temptation it would bring, but it would also be possible to make the world better in a big way.
