Essentially the ILA wants to have gaurantees that self driving trucks and automated cranes and robots will not replace them and they want a cost of living to compensate for crushing inflation which is $5 an hour increase. So . .
JP Morgan states the strike will cost $5 billion a day to the USMX. Math . . .
45,000 longshormen $5 an hour increase cost per day $ 1.8 million per week $ 9 million per year $ 468 million So $5 Billion Divided by $ 500 million = 10
On day strike holdout from the USMX could pay the ILA Demands for 10 Years.
They intend to replace every single one of those humans with robots and are gearing up to do it NOW.
This is what it looks like friends.
The Longshoremen , ILA should come out for TRUMP ON DAY ONE !
That would be a kick in the balls, because you know he would step in and . . .
GET A DEAL !
The corporations that they are negotiating with are not American owned.
ILA isn't negotiating, actually.
They ( the corporations )want automation without any Human intervention or compensation, so that A.I. can control everything.
On its face it certainly does not make any sense. Those robots must really be a huge factor they do not want to give up. Nothing else adds up.
Some people on X have been whining how people are focusing on the Hurricane victims and not their big strike! Unreal! These out of touch union bosses better get a FN grip. There are fellow Americans who have literally lost their businesses, homes, family members and very lives whilst these highly paid greedy union members want more money & guarantees in life! I know how much money the Union bosses & members make. Walk your strike back & help your fellow Americans in these flood ravaged areas!
I wonder how many of these importers would prefer to receive payment for their goods in something other than Biden's federal reserve note?
Math sure makes it seem like it's a seige tactic... which comes right before the kinetic part...
