I don't know how you can say that Trump and JFK Jr. didn't have a deep relationship.

They were deep enough that JFK Jr. took the time to write a personal letter to him. Trump brought that letter to the Larry King show and Larry read it out loud. Trump said that it must have been one of the last things he did. He was a great guy. A friend of mine.

I'm not understanding why Carolyn Bessette would have to be friends with Trump to make his friendship with JFK Jr. legitimate.

Trump has made several public statements that he got to know JFK Jr. really well and they were friends.

I'm going with what Trump has said publicly.

We can agree to disagree.
