score, purchased the II for 17K, and sold it back to them for 100K LMAO
That was hilarious, thanks for sharing.
I wonder if Herr Goldsmit is still employed?
Sounds like they let our own Mayor Pete handle this project.

He says that the ferry was going too slowly against the wind. Wouldn't it make up for it when it came back with the wind?
as it slams uncontrollably into the dock...
Sure, if you make it across to come back.
Hmmmm, makes senseπππ
Great story.
I'm hoping the scrapyard that bought the steel for the boarder wall held on to them, and can sell them back when trump wins.
Noice, watch them donate them back to Trump and their business is even more successful
I don't mind if they make a nice profit,it would save a lot of time,to use the steel allready made and in the area.
Lithium ion batteries produce it's own oxygen sadly, it'll continue to burn even when submerged under water. π€‘π
If you really wanted an electric ferry, the right way to do it would be to make it like a cable car ferry, especially over such short distance were there isn't much cross traffic from bigger boats. The cable will then be pulled from the shore by any type of engine really, heck if the engine breaks down it could be pulled by hand too.
