I went to the Fourth Street factory website to see if they have their affiliates listed. (They do not). The below disclaimer popped up on their website:
Fourth Street Foods Addresses Misinformation Charleroi, PA.— 09/17/24 — Recently, Fourth Street Foods has faced unfounded criticism on social media platforms such as X. Allegations claim the company replaced American workers with immigrants to cut labor costs; this is untrue and a complete fabrication. Fourth Street Foods takes pride in being a long-standing part of the Charleroi community, employing both local and international workers. Our mission prioritizes providing safe and valued employment to all, regardless of origin, without displacing American workers. We regret that recent political attention has cast our town negatively amidst rebuilding efforts. It’s unfortunate that our town was not identified in a more positive light as we continue to rebuild a community previously devastated by the departure of foundational industries. Our company's growth supports the community's fiscal health, and we remain dedicated to offering employment to qualified individuals. We appreciate all our employees and look forward to a positive future for both our company and the Charleroi community. For more information, press only: Fourth Street Foods (724) 483-2000 [email protected]
I obviously don't believe their bullshit in light of the news coming out recently. I'm completely disgusted. While I try to avoid processed foods, it is hard to avoid it 100% of the time.
I would love to know which companies are buying this and slapping their brand on it. Is there a way to find out?
Wall of text = guilty
I'll hunt around on 4chan to see if anything popped up
sound about right. ty for entering the chan. I tried before and got a headache, but was interesting while there. It was like I entered the Twilight Zone
I keep the main page very small, to avoid the crazy amount of gore and other nonsense. I didn't see anything about this subject yet though
They say they “continue to rebuild a community previously devastated by the departure of foundational industries.”
Which foundational industries left and why? Who put them out of business or chased them out? Steele? Glass? Nothing is Made in the USA anymore.
