Five of the high court's justices ruled that justices disagreed with Republicans' interpretation of the law at the center of the lawsuit and determined it would not be in the public interest to change the election procedures this late in the cycle.

It's too late to not count ballots that did not arrive until after the election which didn't happen yet??
