The difference is Floyd was attempting to pass a counterfeit bill at a store. He had drugs, was high already & cops were called. When Floyd saw the cops he swallowed the rest of his drug stash and he got more intoxicated. This was all in public. It can be debated what really caused his death.

As for the squirrel, the homeowners experienced the oppressive home search that took 5 hours by law enforcement. No warning, no criminal record. This resulted in the confiscation of Peanut & Fred and the gov’t euthanizing them. The jackbooted thugs probably shot them with their guns.
