"Its down to social media. They have all their Twitter followers agreeing with them and telling them they’re right all the time, when the real world comes calling they can’t understand it. It’s actually hilarious."

And many of those followers are really bots designed to keep them in an echo chamber. I don't have any social media "friends" whom I don't know from outside of there so I know that they're actually real.
