I feel this way a bit, but also like it's very possible the other side just catastrophically failed and they don't really have a strategy at this point and are regrouping.

I think they lost with the covid scam (many people pushed back and we are maskless and the "pandemic is over"), and with trump they expected the assassination(s) plot to work, so it would have been a new dem candidate (kamala) vs a new R candidate (like JD?), which would have been a different election entirely. They expected the felony hoax to work, but all this backfired and made trump more popular.

What they tried didn't pan out, so they just let the election go. They might not have been able to cheat this time, or as much, because everyone was expecting it. Also R ground game was probably stronger than they realized.

So what were they to do, short of something big (which could be coming of course)? They might be restrategizing.

Also idk if this would be something controversial to say, but Trump is literally not Hitler, and so maybe isn't thought to be all that much of a threat to them ultimately, so they can get along with four more trump years. but then what comes after that in 2028?
