I'll try and be brief. My spouse, who I love, was "thinking about (and may have)" voting for KommieLa as a reformrenda against the Republicans and because he doesn't believe T is a real Christian because he said in an interview he doesnt believe in confession and can't describe his faith. One of the reasons my spouse disagrees with the re'pubs is their policy on the boarder and their acception of a man/T with bad character: -he cheated on Malania -he paid Stormy (dont get me started on this one) -he plans on using lots of tariffs
Ok- i think the reasons are b.s. BUT I think the root is that my spouse believes Trump is a fake Christian (the irony is not lost on me....so Trump is a milk toast Christian...at least he doesnt kill babies and celebrate sexual dabachery)...
Ok, so the ask: does anyone know any pre-political career statements Trump has made about his faith? Videos would be great. I think anything after his presidential run would be dismissed as pandering to Christians...i mean i'd still take if it is a strong statement ...i am trying to build a case that T may be a flawed Christian but still a real one.
Any help/guidance/tips would be well appreciated!!
Thank you!!
Instead of trying to prove that Trump is a Christian, ask her to explain this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyjtpt3fGfg
Or the fact that she refused to show up at the Catholic Al Smith dinner.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI0MUoW28VE
Also ask her how can she be a Christian and support a candidate that supports abortion?
Or how can the better Christian candidate support transgender(satanic) surgeries for inmates and illegals using tax payer money?
Tell her to do some bible studying as well because clearly the notion that God picks flawed men to carry out his will onto our realm is a thing.(Cyrus for example)
The notion that Trump has to be this saint in order to vote for him falls apart when he is facing off against a demon. Every Christian alive should support any person who is fighting against demons, let alone fighting for the Christians as well.
Ask these simple questions to your wife and see what she says.
100 percent. I asked him to explain it to me, I said: "How could you even consider voting for someone who 90% you disagree with and openly supports sin VS. Someone you 10% disagree with and may be a weak-but-trying Christian"
And he said, "I can't explain it to your. We just have different priorities"
Tbh we argued about this last night and I was actually trying to understand him. I asked, "I am trying to understand how your faith and values mean anything to you you are willing to bite against them to "prove a point". Like how to you say to Jesus "I voted for K, who wants to kill babies because T didn't prove his faith to me" help me understand..." And he said "good luck with that " and hasn't spoken to me about it since.
He had been supportive of my support of Trump so, I was surprised by his...mild to moderate TDS. ... I suppose I feel the need to share with him how I see this flawed but well intentioned leader...
There's a video on YouTube with Judge Joe Brown "Is Donald Trump a Racist?". It doesn't mention whether Trump is a Christian or not, but it does speak of his character. He also exposed how Kamala had an affair with a married man and that's how she basically got her career off the ground and into the right social circles. But yeah, your husband holds the president to higher standards...
Thank you! I'll look it up!
I thought of you and your husband when I saw this:
