Working the register at Lowe's in high school had a few advantages. Manager didn't care as long as my drawer didn't come up short. I also was able to fill a Mason jar with silver.
Nice. I still have actual silver dollers, that my grandparents and mother saved. I also added a few more. They are over 100 years old and you can buy them today cheep.
I believe I am the only one to have ever pointed out the fact that his EO was squashed the day after he died. What they did was "honor" him by removing the silver from the treasury's vaults (so no currency can be backed or issued by silver). They made the silver Kennedy half dollar coins with the silver, instead. These coins were inflationary federal reserve system currency. RIP Mr. Kennedy.
They said silver certificates, on the top. I had one years ago,but accidently spent it.
I still have a couple...
8 1s
2 2s
1 5
