They killed the man that invented the Engine that ran on Water. Remove Oil and Gas as the main source of energy and you destroy the FIAT PetroDollar and all the purchasing power for the might of the US Military..
Before that they black listed the man that came up with free electricity and a whole bunch of other inventions.
