Daniel Penny has been found not guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely on a New York City subway car in 2023.

Again, Daniel Penny did not kill Jordan Neely. Neely died as the result of negligence or misfeasance on the part of NYPD. He died in the ER from a combination of a drug overdose and a sickle cell anemia crisis.
