Article says this was a math teacher that gave the assignment to an elective class called about social connectedness. Here is what probably happened: Math teacher was forced to teach curriculum so that the school would have a place for kids to go during that class period (teachers can teach a single prep that is outside of their qualifications). Teacher was most likely handed the curriculum and told to follow it and did so willingly. The clue: kids were given the assignment and told NOT to talk. Teacher doesn’t want to teach the class and is taking the easy way out. Is it right? No, it’s not. I’m pointing out how schools are being used as babysitters and indoctrination factories. The fact that a math teacher is being used in this capacity is an example of how the education system forces everyone to comply in one form or another. TLDR: take your kids out of DEI schools.
