You might look into the WHOLE 30 DIET - my husband’s triglycerides we’re off the chart. His doctor recommended W 30 for him. We both went on it for 6 wks, lost 20 & 30 lbs each. His Ts were lowered remarkably.
Basically meat, fish, poultry, eggs, green & other non-starchy vegetables (surprisingly potatoes & yams are ok). No sugar in anything (even condiments), no processed foods, no breads, rice, pasta, dairy, or legumes. Dates are ok per the way they’re metabolized. Had no idea how incredible one date can taste when you’ve eliminated all sugars, We used coconut aminos in place of soy & did tons of stir fry. Worked wonders for us. It took a lot of commitment at first but got easier as we went along. All good healthy food & we were never hungry, And we’re big fans of berberine. Anyhow, good luck fren, and God bless!
