I actually think the CR kerfluckle was a sting operation to show the people that business as usual was ramming through 1500 pages of BS before Christmas break. Shutting down the government right now was not a good move and Johnson did pare it down to the 118 pages with the non budget stuff removed. We certainly don’t have enough of a solid majority to ram anything down the Dems throat. People are paying attention more than ever and many are waking up. We don’t need a speaker fight right now either as it will delay the electoral vote process and a government shut down would have delayed the inauguration. Johnson is fine…the real fight starts Jan 21. I do think Gaetz should swear in to the Congress he was elected to and start payback by exposing the slush fund participants and the Epstein list. These are certainly interesting times.
