Staying at an AirBNB just outside DC. Is that a waste of time or will it be worth the time, effort and money?

Their maybe other celebrations to attend, other than the one with trump. I would do some research.

Many inaugural parties. You just have to get invited. I told OP to contact his Congressman. I'm from DC and have been to some of the parades. Reagan's funeral too. My friend just got elected to Congress and I'm sure I could get tix, but I really have no interest in being there. 45 years in DC was enough for me. IIRC you're from the DMV too?

I'm in OKC. If I lived nearby I would drive over, I used to be very involved in the republican party, I could probably get some kind of tickets, but I don't want to use leave and spend money right now.
