Shipping channels have been sabotaged, both Panama and Suez Canal, reverting back to 1800s shipping routes around the horns of Africa & South America. It’s not an economical route, but it seems to be more expeditious to go around than through them today. It takes an extra 18 months to go around the horn of South America heading east to west. Ships are being held up in Panama for an average of 21 months.
Greenland is far north, military advantage (high ground), and we need to protect shipping routes in that region. I hear Russia is lurking around in that area; they want control of the shipping routes in the Arctic for their interests.
China is trying to create new shipping channels to bypass Panama Canal. Not in USA interest. China is working to put us at a disadvantage. They want a monopoly on the shipping routes, too. They want to cut us out and charge $$$ to pass.
Britain’s monarchy is in check, not saying a word about annexing Crown land. I postulated UK monarchy would be in deep shit once the queen passed away. IMHO, no actions were to be taken against the crown out of respect for the Queen or b/c of some deal that was made. They’re kingdom is in troubled waters. It seems a deal has already been reached, b/c Trump is talking about it. He usually only talks about business deals once the ink is dry (heard him say it once). They’re currently embroiled in covering up UK gang-rape-grooming-shit. I can only guess who’s doorstep this could lead to… 👑. Also, the monarchy didn’t grant Trudeau’s wish on more time to find his replacement.
There’s possibly a myriad of other reasons we don’t know about. Keystone pipeline is about to open up, we’re producing LNG, and we’ll be shipping energy through our secured routes all over the world… looks like we’ll be set to dominate through strength again.
Finally, I’m probably wrong about all of it.
