Not to mention they used darbyism spread by the Schofield reference Bible to push pre-millennial dispensationalism that tricked the modern evangelical church into thinking that Israel has some sort of place in the future fulfillment of scripture.
The belief in the rapture and that we lose down here as Christians is the greatest lie that is ever been injected into the Christian church. No one polishes brass on a sinking ship.
God wins.
Belief in the rapture was virtually unheard of up until about 200 years ago.
I think this is a psyop. I own and use a Scofield study Bible from 1917. It is simply a kjv, I don’t know if Scofield’s notes are Zionist, the ones I’ve read are giving mainly historical context. Maybe it’s because I have the 1917 version.
Also, Paul is the OG dispensationalist as all his letters preach a pretrib rapture of the church. 2 Thessalonians was a letter in response to that early church thinking they’d missed the rapture. The main takeaway (regardless of what you believe about the timing of our Lord’s return) is to live your life like Jesus is coming any moment. If you live for Him, your sin will take a backseat. ❤️🙏🏻
