Am I the only one who feels like there is something going on that has made me dumber and dumber over the past 5-ish years. I am not a dumb person. I graduated with a master's degree (4.0 gpa) before I turned 30 while working a professional career, I was able to learn a foreign language fluently starting in my late teens/early 20s, and I have an impressive resume. But I feel like my brain doesn't function the way that it used to and my ADHD has gotten so much worse. Part of me thinks it was triggered by two back-to-back pregnancies (your brain shrinks during pregnancy), but then part of me also wonders if there is something environmental.
I'm not opposed to thinking something suspicious is going on, but symptoms of ADHD are absolutely exacerbated by using a phone or PC. Remove/limit those factors, replace them with reading books or working on something meaningful (carpentry, painting miniatures, etc.) and see how you feel in a few months.
L-theanine. So many cases of ADHD turn out to be a deficiency in this amino acid which is why they accidentally get relief from energy drinks because many of them these days have it as an ingredient (combining caffeine and l-theanine gives you energy while canceling out the jitters.) L-theanine is very cheap and you can just buy it in pills or even raw powder right from Amazon and elsewhere. I take 200mg before bed and sometimes put a little scoop of it (about 100mg) in my coffee as well. I get woken up but don't feel like bouncing off the walls when it is added.

I've used Caffeine + L-Theanine as a nootropic stack and it was great. BTW you get a smaller dose of this combo from green tea as well!
