This is so key right now. My daughter displays these traits, she cannot 'mask' them. That is what we spend our days trying to teach her. Stop biting yourself, stop digging holes in your fingers, stop stop stop. All of this and she can't even speak to us to tell us why she is doing it. Welcome to hell folks.
