Police shot multiple rounds into a vehicle with the pastor and three kidnappers inside. All the kidnappers were killed, but the pastor was not injured, and he is now safely again with his family. East Tennessee rejoices at the news.

Nice to hear these police officers have accurate aim.
Our local news outlets (east Tennessee) have been keeping a close eye on this and that is what was reported last night... that they were moving their prisoner in a vehicle when police closed in. A firefight ensued during which the kidnappers in the car were killed, while the pastor himself remained unscathed.
EDIT: I realize that initial news reports can be wrong in certain details, but that is the story we have all heard as of this morning.
All this was probably engineered by the government just to ease relations with the US. What are the odds that this happened like they are saying. I do not believe all the bad guys were killed and the Pastor was unharmed. When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! Call me a skeptic!

If you tell me you are going to South Africa to preach knowing what is going on, well good luck. Maybe his preaching was to help kill bad guys, if so mission accomplished, now stay and preach more.
From all local reports (I live close to where his church and community are here in east Tennessee), he's a preacher who only preaches the Gospel. He was in South Africa to do what the Bible says in "the great commission"... if you know what that is.
