He's At Your Heart's Door

He’s knocking at your heart’s door, friend. Look at His hands. The psalmist said in Psalm 31:15: “My times are in thy hand.” And friends, today your eternal destiny today is in the hands of Jesus Christ. Jesus, the crucified—“those hands, my cruel sins are pierced, are now my guard and guide.” The hands of a Savior and a Sovereign today. Patiently He comes to your heart’s door, and He’ll come no farther. He’ll come no farther. He’ll never break it in. You have to open it.

Daily Promises

Christ reigns even now on His heavenly throne, yet the earth is filled with evil men. The adopted brothers and sisters of Christ reign even now by His side, yet their lives are of suffering. How can this be? It is the mystery of the cross of Christ Jesus! Through our weakness, we are strong. Through death, we have life. Through suffering, we are become the victors. And through persecution, we are blessed. Therefore, Christ tells us, rejoice in such troubles till the heavenly consummation, for great will be our apparent reward in that day. So do not fret, O believer, but trust that your suffering will produce hope. Hope in Christ. Hope in Heaven.

Don’t Make Prayer So Difficult

Whether or not the words come out perfect in prayer isn’t being judged by God. Instead, He’s looking for your honesty and sincerity.
