He's At Your Heart's Door

He’s knocking at your heart’s door, friend. Look at His hands. The psalmist said in Psalm 31:15: “My times are in thy hand.” And friends, today your eternal destiny today is in the hands of Jesus Christ. Jesus, the crucified—“those hands, my cruel sins are pierced, are now my guard and guide.” The hands of a Savior and a Sovereign today. Patiently He comes to your heart’s door, and He’ll come no farther. He’ll come no farther. He’ll never break it in. You have to open it.

Daily Promises

For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

God keeps His promises. No matter what His promise may be, He will keep it-and it will be a "Yes" in Christ. Because of His faithfulness through Christ, our proper response should be "Amen," in order that we give Him glory. This should be the goal of all who believe-the further glory of God.

Clean Out The Garbage

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. — 2 Timothy 1:7

There is plenty of garbage in this life that attempts to influence us and distract us from our Christian walk. It’s time to clean out the garbage.

I find that when people are truly searching to understand, they can find the right sources, especially in this information age. Likewise, when people are confronted with an uncomfortable reality that jars an existing belief, they can turn around and find what they need to prove that they were right all along.
