That charity always rubbed me the wrong way because they asked for something large -- as if they were not interested in receiving any modest donations. I'd never heard of another charity doing that and it seemed "entitled" in a way. When they graduated to requesting houses and boats it seemed even moreso.
I keep waiting for a commercial suggesting people make them beneficiaries of their wills.

I hate seeing that commercial: we accept boats and houses too! You accept anything not nailed down and for free.
