Can a cell phone be duplicated?
No, a hacker cannot literally create a new physical phone from your phone’s data alone. However, they can do something far more dangerous: clone your digital identity so convincingly that it’s as if they have a fully functional duplicate of your phone. This is called SIM cloning, device emulation, or full account takeover, and it’s a real threat.
