FAKE NEWS: Media Reports Mass Shooting In Australia But That's Impossible Because Guns Are Illegal There
WORLD — Fake news media across the globe have reported that a mass shooting occurred in Australia, which is literally impossible because guns are illegal there.
I have read that one of the shooter was on terrorist list but not the urgent list (whatever that means).
I have also read that he had license for 6 firearms.
How can they both be true?

To set the record straight guns are not illegal in Australia, they have licensing laws for long arms - you can readily own a long arm as long as you are licensed to do so , hand guns can also be owned and carried under a separate albeit a stricter license and registration which includes a member of a gun range.

I was on another forum years ago and had an argument with a Aussie and a Brit about the 2nd Amendment. They argued that no population needs to be armed to the teeth like Americans. The Brit owned no guns and the Aussie only had an old shotgun for hunting. I wonder how they feel today?
