I was big time into WOW 20 some years ago and did buy gold a couple of times.
I also knew a girl that played to mine for gold, and I reckon other mats as well.
Not long after Cataclysm dropped I switched to a free server that ran WOTLK. When Blizz dropped Classic I played it for a bit but the cost of the subscription isn't worth it to me. When I first got into it my drivers license was suspended, so I pretty much worked and played WOW, but later getting my license reinstated play would be sporadic so the free server was a good fit for me. Even that I haven't played in the last couple years or more.
I was never really a high level player, and all the factions and races were getting boring doing the same starting areas, same quests, etc etc.
That's funny though Epstein tied in with WOW, and really too the white American girl I knew although I'm sure there were multiple operations doing this so maybe not the same one.
Yeah, I highly doubt he played. Especially seeing all he was involved with, how could he have the time?! lol
Yeah, I remember playing my first toon in BC questing in Elwynn Forest thinking how tranquil it was with the trees, peaceful music, very enjoyful. Of course leveling up there are many areas very nice, although I think I'd say Booty Bay is my fav town.
I only got my toes wet before motherhood made it free time and me time into meaning a bath without interruption and sleeping 8 hours. It is in my retirement list for sure. Though
Once both my kiddos are healthy and happy and leave the nest I going to take one full month of as close to actual RnR as possible. That is about all I can take I think before I I’ll need to touch grass and start feeling gross from the unhealthy diet of all the stuff I won’t have in my house currently. I going to watch marathons ( mostly older stuff cuz the new stuff just irks me more than entertains) this will be my well earned mid life crisis it will definitely include gaming and sugar so so so much sugar and Baths like hours and hours long with out a single question. As far as midlife crisis go pretty dull I know but for me it’s a big jump lol. Then I will pivot to being healthy enough to enjoy the eventual grand kids. After my momspringa

I think Epstein was just using it to funnel money. He's not really into it.
