One other small detail that’s not mentioned:

Election Day in the United States is the Tuesday after the first Monday in November, occurring in even-numbered years for federal, state, and local elections. The next Election Day will be on November 3, 2026.

Not election week, month, months…day…24 hours. One spin of the earth.
