The film was released in the UK and Ireland on 12/19/25. It premiered in NYC and was scheduled for US theatrical release in early 2026, but it is currently not listed on major US streaming platforms.
The film was directed by Eugene Jarecki, the film covers WikiLeaks' revelations and the legal battle to free him. It features interviews and previously unpublished footage. It is being distributed by Watermelon Pictures.
The film had a limited theatrical run starting in late 2025.
I still think of Julian Assange. I'm glad he's free and hope he is recovering. God bless him and his family.
I know Iβll get some grief for this, but I think we all have opinions here. I donβt understand the unwavering support for JA. I believe he has had evidence of the truth in certain circumstances that he chose to sit on, instead of doing the right thing and exposing the wrongdoing. He was quick to point out flaws with GWB, and I have no issue with that. Then, he had the Seth Rich/Russiagate info and refused to give it up. Feels like he likes to pick and choose when journalistic integrity is important.
