Pretty sure it's all true. This country has so much wealth and has been and will be again a huge producer. We truly have been blessed with natural resources in our amazing country.
It's a big cost, but entitlements like welfare, Medicare, and social security are still the biggest bucket of spending (and rapidly growing). A few X more than military spending as a whole IIRC
I think this was already posted and I commented that the the NATO funding is via taxes, so it is taxes that are the problem
But also now I'd comment regulations are a big problem too, you didn't used to have so many rules to follow which made it easier to prosper
(A lack of government regulations doesn't mean you can't create rules for your life; likewise a lack of taxes doesn't mean people can't build out things that government funding otherwise would have made happen)
