If this is an open primary, all this (no debate, getting high-profile/name recognition Dems and rinos to call for votes for Maaie) can have the purpose of getting Dems and rinos to vote for him. Massie may have lost the republicans but can still win the primary if Dems with vote for him rather than the dem who’s running.
