At this point CA is equivalent to a turd world country, it is so huge and so corrupt.

Don't know what they were thinking back then to accept this giant land mass as ONE state!

Under California Republican Assemblyman James Gallagher a May 26,2026 legislative resolution, California’s 35 inland counties — covering most of Northern California, the Sierra Nevada, the Central Valley and the Inland Empire — would become a new state. Yuba and Sutter counties would be included, these two counties are voting on this measure next Tuesday. The Gallagher map would split Ca top to bottom. California has been trying to break apart from the large coastal cities numerous failed times. The interior counties are under represented and over ruled by SF and LA time and again. Gallagher is running for Congress. This too will unfortunately probably fail.
