Keir Starmer plans to announce his resignation timetable Monday. His replacement will face the same failure because the United Kingdom has become ungovernable. The elected government no longer controls the state apparatus. Tony Blair's constructed blob of NGOs Quangos courts civil service and administrative state runs everything and answers to nobody. Starmer himself stated he pulls a lever and nothing happensthing happens. Without a massive purge of those institutions swapping prime ministers accomplishes nothing more than replacing a toy steering wheel in a car already hurtling off a cliff.
They have a big problem. I can’t see a political solution, I believe critical mass has been passed with parasitic welfare dependents who will always “vote” for the most detrimental government simply to keep their gibs.

I hope I’m wrong though.
The Labour party members can vote for who gets elected as Prime Minister, other parties usually have the MPs themselves selecting who gets to be PM.
