New nomenclature in the fanfic book of 'How to do Warfare' - some hard Democrats (PhD relatives) claim that Trump's erratic but almost weekly war/peace cycles, which we are experiencing in this strange Hormuz saga, is to 'manipulate markets' - so that his relatives can cream the lucky presidency, or something.
So, further to my theory that Carlson is 'controlled opposition', Xoaquin's thesis is that Trump is rearranging the popular view of the role and importance of Israel, and every cycle mops up more people.
So, USA has been 'controlling Israel' in previous presidencies, and the narrative has been that Trump is Zion Don. So that was already a strange inversion for my Democrat relatives.
Xoaquin also notices that Tucker Carlson is actually working for the 'Reduce Israel's power' effect as well, as is Alex Jones, and Professor Marandi. And now, we have to consider their respective audiences: To my relatives, Carlson is mainstream. Jones is off the planet (they think he is hard Right), and Marandi is interesting, but irrelevant to US politics. The latter is framed as hard left in Western Media. (He is, however, intimately involved with Iranian leadership and viewed as a conservative in his country, so Marandi is looked at occasionally).
Marandi proclaims that Israel is putting up roadblocks to peace, as are Carlson and Jones. In terms of my relatives: All sides agree.
