Dr. Lappe: Yes... Nothing in response to your report. And please have the book I left on you desk analysed and on the computer by 4 o'clock.
J. Turner: Yes sir. Better get the telemais moved closer to the light Doctor, you're getting a blight.
J. Turner: At ease Sarge... at ease.
J. Turner: Gonna rain today at 10:20.

In the shooting script for 3 Days Of The Condor... page 4,

"As Mrs Williams opens her desk drawer to press a button releasing the outer door you glimpse within it a .45."

In the rest of the script, reference to this weapon refer to it as a 357 Magnum (page 21, page 25,) as in the original book (6 Days Of The Condor), switches back to referencing a .45 (page 40) when Wicks checks out a gun prior to meeting Condor, then switches back to Wick having a .357 when he tries to shoot Condor in the alley, and it turns back into a .45 (page 125) when Joubert (the contract assassin) gives Condor his gun back to him. Original script followed the book, a .357 magnum pistol, changed to a .45 caliber semi-auto for shooting.

In the shooting script, dialog / scene / action descriptions are as follows:

Turner: Turner, Joseph, no middle initial.
Russell: Seventeen minutes late.
Turner: I was bucking headwinds, put down twelve minutes. It's gonna rain by 10:20.
Russell: Thanks a lot. I left my umbrella on the bus.

All without stopping. Turner moves toward the rear office, now taking his helmet off. He stops at the open door at rear. Plants fill the room, on desk, along windowsills, radiators and hanging from planters. And there's that odd ULTRA VIOLET LIGHT that encourages plant growth.

Tuner: Dr. Lappe...?

Dr. Lappe --- standing on a chair, watering one of the hanging plants with a long-snouted watering-can --- just checks his pocket-watch, says nothing. Turner ignores the inference.

Turner: Was there anything in the early pouch?
Dr. Lappe: Yes... but nothing in response to your report.
Turner: Oh... Maybe this afternoon.
Dr. Lappe: Please have the book you're working on analyzed and on the computer by four o'clock.
Turner: Yes sir.

And he's (Turner) on his way again. Up the curved staircase.

As written in the original script... if filmed, number sequencing would have been: 357 / 17 / 12 / 10:20 / 4... nothing to write home about...

But... 45 / 17 /12 / 4 / 10:20

In the draft shooting script (dated February 3, 1974) , the .357 pistol has been replaced with a .45 pistol (other references to the .357 remain as noted above). Between February 3, 1974 and principal shooting in September 1974... we end up with an interesting example of synchronicity...

What's really going to bake your noodle... is that the above synchronicity had nothing to do with what Q'd me to take pull this DVD off the shelf and start watching it. It was this:
