Bash was responsible for investigating the Flynn unmasking:
@CJTruth thread on it (not much info):

X22 talked about this today as if it weren't a big deal at all. Just that his portion of work is done on the Durham case.
Here are some helpful thoughts from thedonald.win so far:
"The guy replacing Bash used to work in DOJ NSD, the center of the Spygate corruption."
"If Barr fired John Bash, that's not good news. Remember his wife is the SUPER BASED Zine Bash, made famous on TD for her Pepe symbols during the Kavanaugh hearings. John Bash is supposed to be one of us. If he resigned... that's... that's really bad. The fix is in and the sunlight is being removed."
"Hum, effective EOD Friday. Wonder if something will drop before then."
"this is in response to a possible direct release order by Trump."
"My gut says that someone or something was preventing him from doing the job that we, the American people, want him to do. He resigned in protest because he's a solid, based dude, who wants to make American great again. And Barr and the Deep State are preventing that."
What do people here think?
Agree with you re Barr. He's had plenty of time but all we got was a slap on the wrist for Clinesmith.
Bash's wife Zina is also the attorney who supported Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings and sat behind him giving what looked like an OK sign and a "thinking Pepe" gesture. Apparently she once worked for Texas AG Ken Paxton, who's just been turned in by senior staffers for unethical and illegal acts.
Hm.
[spez: just noticed that the earlier comment mentioned part of this info -- apologies...]
