This plane, a Boeing E-4B Nightwatch, is CLEARLY loitering above northern Michigan. That wouldn’t necessarily be anything noteworthy were this not the type of aircraft that it is. The Nightwatch is one of the rarest birds to be seen doing anything other than training or touch-and-gos, and it is clearly loitering.

I don’t know much about Michigan, so I zoomed in further and the only really notable thing I could see was Michigan Technological University. https://i.imgur.com/I7wt5T1.jpg
I don’t know what could possibly be going on here or anywhere else in the loitering area that would warrant a friggin NIGHTWATCH in the sky, but I certainly figure it is interesting enough to share with you guys.
Do any of you that know Michigan better than me (I know that Detroit is a great place to get stabbed, and that’s about it) have any ideas what this could imply? My only guesses are something to do with the University, or something to do with the massive election fraud going on in the state.

EDIT: I just realized that it also adjusted course during its return-to-base to fly a little closer to Detroit and directly over Lansing. Not as intriguing as the loitering, but still figured it was worth mentioning. It's also worth noting that there were no other military aircraft in the area, at least at the time that I noticed it.
