I strongly believe he is aware his army will be at risk, but that it was a necessary force to raise. He's probably counting on Christians to pray for the group's safety from anything that would cause mass death, and for people to have enough sense not to bring their kids around Antifa. They're not in diapers anymore? By the time they use the porta potty, go get back in line for a couple hours more. Do that twice and they're done on their feet, and they can find others to leave with so they don't get ambushed on the way, way back to the car. (Editing to clarify that in addition to the potential for up-to death, there are other factors that argue against bringing young kids. One more, if shots are fired or a Molotov thrown or anything that causes the crowd to run, kids could get knocked down and stepped on or separated from you.)
