He's been moving away from the Masons lately because they claim to be for this and for that but all the statewide organizations stayed quiet about what's going on in our country, they didn't even speak in lodges about it and they certainly didn't encourage anyone in the right direction. Also, they mostly just sit on a bunch of money and have potlucks. So, it isn't that I'm trying to defend masonry, it's just that I'm pretty convinced that's a hammer and sickle. It looks to me to be the explanation of why one arm of the "compass" is weirdly thick. It's a hand holding the hammer with sickle crossing behind.
