Wasn't sure before but there was something off about the numbers of trainers and some of the flight patterns(circling and running what appears to be area searches), but now one of them has joined the circling E3's over Oklahoma...
The thing about trainers is that they are ALL capable of counter insurgency, surveillance and a few other things other than serving as trainers and are often sold equipped for these other roles to other nations.
Given what is going on these other capabilities are certainly applicable and they are a lot less 'visible' than other planes that would normally be used for these jobs and there are a lot of them(often they are also quite long-legged as well)....
edit: and even when they are around/near an air-base they don't normally fly over urban and highly populated areas when used as trainers, simply because it is training and shit happens on occasion...
edit2: wtf, now there are 2 more E3's heading for the Oklahoma roundabout.....(much greater altitude as the roundabout is at only 3.000 feet while the 2 additional ones are at 20.000, but they are descending as they approach...)
edit3: well fuck me, now there is an executive military craft south of Oklahoma circling and its callsign is JUDGE34....... (for anyone not aware of the judges) https://mobile.twitter.com/THEREALTRDJ
