Well, I'm not religious in the sense of following a religion. I am however a creationist, as even if evolution is valid it had to be harnonically weaved into reality. I'm a hopelessly obsessive bookworm though, lots of philosophy and comparative religion.

I'm looking favorably upon messianic Jews beause Jesus taught to avoid hypocrisy, and that it is our character and dispositions which make us holy. These things are reflected in the old testament but are too muddied. Also jews need their hearts softened and Christianity is a good balance between softness and fierceness. For example Jesus was not nice, he was good. Also Jesus relied on his reason to see God's will, and didn't take it from the rabbis.

In general Jesus was a hebrew and should not be excluded from our scriptures. This is also a major reason for the hostilities.

Accepting Jesus as a pivotal character is just natural and can allow for less adversity between the religious and semi religious people from both sides
