They can't let people know that they really aren't the majority, this is the biggest part of their scam. Get a bunch of that are too busy, too lazy, or too ignorant to search out 'truth', or even alternate explanations of what goes on in our country and the world. Just let them tell you. Then they tell you that every smart person thinks like you except the racists, and nazi's. The more time that goes by, in my mind, the less and less of these people I really believe there are. So the 49 state thing wouldn't really surprise me.
