catsfive was on top of this on that night... posted a link to a pod cast, that, as i recall, was comparing the staging of the balcony where the singer was that night to the balcony scene near the end of the movie, Godfather III, main point was the subtlety of the lighting (the chandelier being turned up just as the singer begins), happens in both G III and how this was staged that night

as far as the comment i made that night (catfive's post of the podcast was made shortly after the event ended)..., shakes head... sighs

note that Nessun Dorma was played at many, many of the Trump rallies, particularly in the beginning, it became rarer near the end. the recording they played at the rallies is linked to in my comment (link below) to catfive's post from that evening. It is from the film, Yes, Giorgio, Pavorotti starring, and, of course. singing. that would be, Yes, George, for our non-Italian speakers

I kind of remember a magazine with a name something like that. What was it?

I have been criticized for being overly vague in my comments. So, before that happens again, The Sum Of All Fears was dedicated to Mike Rogers (and his wife), the book was released in 1991. That would be the same Mike Rogers, who on the 17th of November, 2016, made a trip to Trump Tower.
