I remember the Spitzer revelation also, was so disappointed in him. Perhaps we’ve all gotten numb to the creeps to some degree, but the stuff I’ve learned recently with regards to the satanic pedophilia... literally changed me. I could not have fathomed the depths of that depravity. I don’t think the general public should be hearing that level of it just yet, if at all, but that’s just my opinion.
I have no issues with the military taking the lead, have always admired and respected them (and, yes, there are bad apples in EVERY walk of life and career), but I think some on the left are going to be terrified by the thought. Aside from deliberately and deceptively stoking the public’s egos, the MSM has also relied heavily on FEAR as a control mechanism - one that obviously has superseded the ability of those on the left to use even basic common sense. Look at them wearing masks in their own cars... by themselves. I do think that many will be afraid of the military and not comforted by their presence.
MSM - a sore subject for me as far back as 9/11 and the ensuing WMD fiasco - being official, as you say, may be a big part of it. I also have liberal friends who fawn over the snarky little “Rhodes scholar” spewing her lies. I see that as a pure ego play. Most of the friends I have on the left have very low self-esteem and these MSM manipulators basically have convinced them they can be part of a superior little club if they just put their trust completely in the propaganda. Anyway, that’s my observations from my little corner of the world.
It will be interesting to see how this progresses and I’ll continue to pray for good people to be safe and prevail. God is with us and His will be done...
