All I can say, is she is using this to cope. Iv been a conspiracy anon for a long time, so I know the ends and outs of larping and intentional disinformation. But older people fall into a theory, then fall into every rando posting on youtube like it's the truth. Every photoshopped pic like it's real. (Its on the internet so it must be real right???)

All I can say is their are a few things you can use to help her. ( it has helped me contain my family's need to obsessively post every photo and theory on FB.)

I suggest suprising her by playing at her own game. Even if you dont really belive in it.
